We are looking to hire an established and experienced Sales Specialist focused on the China market. Based in Hong Kong, this addition to our team will be a valued liaison to our institutional clients and play a formative role in helping our team develop a strategy for the region.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the firm to expand our client coverage and improve our client servicing. We’ll lean on your deep knowledge of the China market and the industry as we identify potential institutional clients and communicate our full range of services and products to them.
This is a people-focused role that relies heavily on building and maintaining relationships. You’ll be expected to travel and join client meetings, directly engage clients and prospects on their investment objectives and trading styles, and represent the firm externally to various partners.
We’re looking for someone who has a deep understanding of sales and/or sales trading, as well as some knowledge in financial products such as ETFs, Equities, or Fixed income. We’ll need someone who is able to quickly comprehend the complexities of our business, as you’ll be the person cross-selling with institutional clients when appropriate.
In addition to working closely with the rest of our Institutional team, you’ll work with our Trading team, as well as groups such as Marketing, Strategy and Technology to provide feedback and further develop Jane Street’s offering to our APAC client base.
