Major Duties:

Specialized Experience: To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, candidates must process specialized experience at a senior level which demonstrates ability to perform the duties of the position, including progressively responsible experience directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under the Mandatory Technical Qualifications (TQs) listed below. Specialized experience includes but is not limited to providing expert advice on major information technology architecture issues, assessing, recommending and successfully implementing emerging technologies, sophisticated analytical skills, superior written and oral communication skills, good judgment, and experience interacting with government and non-government officials. Typically, experience of this nature is gained at or above the GS-15 grade level in the Federal service, or its equivalent with state or local government, the private sector or nongovernmental organizations. You must show that you possess the below mandatory Technical Qualifications (TQs) related to this position within your resume - NOT TO EXCEED 2 PAGES. TQ 1: Demonstrated ability to lead implementation and management of Technological Innovation and Infrastructure Modernization; This involves integrating cutting edge technologies like computing, machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Identity, and/or cryptographic computing in a hybrid (multi-cloud) environment. TQ 2: Demonstrated experience providing expert advice regarding a wide range of technology issues such as: data access for external partners, enterprise encryption; artificial intelligence, enterprise cloud services and other emerging technologies. TQ 3: Demonstrated ability to successfully implement enterprise technology solutions (applications or infrastructure) using appropriate emerging technologies and complying with appropriate security, privacy, and other regulatory requirements. TQ 4: Demonstrated experience in evaluating, testing, and successfully implementing complex technical solutions related to artificial intelligence, edge computing, machine learning, digital identity, cryptographic computing, or other technically difficult federal mandates. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume should include the dates of all qualifying experience (from month/year to month/year) and the number of hours worked/volunteered per week. Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
