Position Purpose: A highly visible, strategic partner accountable for planning and executing key operational, strategic, and tactical priorities for Ambetter Health Solutions. Identify and execute business strategies and operational plans to ensure successful growth, market positioning, compliance and profitability goals are met.

  • Work closely with the Ambetter Health Solutions President to define, align and influence business strategies, and to systematically improve operational execution and efficiency.
  • Lead AOP financial plan and presentation with our Finance and Actuarial team members.
  • Develop and implement key metrics and performance standards to review and assess the performance of the product.
  • Conduct annual pre-Open Enrollment “tabletop” planning session with key internal and external stake holders.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including market health plan leadership, vendors, and regulatory partners, to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage data and identify trends to ensure expectations are met and provide regular updates to Ambetter leadership on performance trends and activities.
  • In partnership with the Ambetter Health Solutions President, oversee development of Ambetter’s immediate and long-term strategic plans.
  • Active engagement with the Ambetter Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and effective collaboration with Centene’s Leadership Teams to implement Ambetter Health Solutions vision and long-term objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, related field or equivalent experience required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in management, consulting, or operations role required
  • Prior experience successfully navigating a matrixed organization required
  • Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
