About Pursuit
Pursuit is a social impact organization building the future of economic mobility in the age of AI. For over a decade, we’ve transformed lives through immersive training programs that propel adults from low-income backgrounds - often without college degrees - into high-growth tech careers. Our graduates have already generated nearly $1 billion in lifetime wage gains.
Now, as AI reshapes every industry, Pursuit is evolving into an AI-native organization. We’re training AI-native talent, embedding AI into our operations, and building scalable software to extend our impact. From grassroots partnerships to national policy, we’re not just filling jobs—we’re rethinking how economic opportunity works at scale.
Chief of Staff
Pursuit is hiring a Chief of Staff to our CEO, Nick Simmons, to serve as a force multiplier for the executive team. This is a senior leadership role at the center of strategy, execution, partnerships, and organizational alignment, helping translate vision into action, drive high-priority initiatives, and ensure the organization is operating cohesively toward our ambitious goals of economic transformation.
The ideal candidate is a sharp, systems-minded operator who thrives in ambiguity, moves comfortably between strategy and execution, and brings strong judgment, presence, and follow-through. You’ll be joining Pursuit at a pivotal moment as we deepen our leadership in AI and workforce development, scale our programs, and build new products that expand economic mobility at scale.
The Chief of Staff will serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, a connector across teams, and an owner of complex, cross-cutting work that helps move the organization forward.
