Our global investment management platform manages approximately A$47 billion globally in property assets via funds and separate mandates. 

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to drive the financial strategy and performance of our Investments platform. This is a pivotal executive role, partnering with the CEO Investments, CIO and senior leadership to drive capital management, governance, and sustainable growth across a diverse portfolio.

You will provide strategic financial leadership, influence investment decisions, and ensure robust risk management and compliance frameworks. This role demands a visionary leader who can balance commercial acumen with innovation and long-term value creation.

About the Role:

  • Define and execute financial strategy for the Investments business, aligned with global objectives.

  • Lead capital management, governance, and risk oversight across the platform.

  • Partner with Boards and senior executives to deliver sustainable growth and returns.

  • Advise and execute on strategic opportunities including new markets, M&A, joint ventures, and strategic investments.

  • Implement high levels of financial discipline, ensuring effective systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Represent Lendlease to financial institutions, investors, auditors, and public officials.

  • Apply digital solutions to transform investment processes and decision-making.

  • Lead finance transformation in the Investments segment, taking a continuous improvement approach as we create best in class finance function.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a senior finance leader in investments, funds management, or real estate within a corporate or listed entity.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence at Board and executive level.

  • Expertise in capital markets, global financial frameworks, and governance.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, and make the complex simple.

  • Experience leading acquisitions, divestments, and forming strategic alliances or partnerships.

  • CPA qualification and membership of a relevant accounting body.
