General Purpose:
Responsible for increasing Sales for Ancillary, Conferencing and Private Office business with dealers and accounts in assigned Region by uncovering new and supporting existing Sales opportunities with our Dealer partner in the channel. In addition to assigned dealers and accounts, providing support and training to assigned CSEs to move sales opportunities forward. Works to build awareness and promote the Geiger brand via effective marketing tactics. Responsible to provide Sales Staff with timely and accurate updates on progress against assigned Sales targets.
Essential Functions:
• Educates/trains/equips CSE and Dealer Salespeople on all GEIGER tools/strategy/tactics on key assigned dealers/accounts.
• Maintains and utilizes social media presence for lead generation with LinkedIn, Twitter, etc
• Conducts/assists in the sales process by giving product presentations, coordinating all Sales Region/Corporate Events held in local Sales Office for key assigned accounts, approving and coordinating logistics for ATLANTA, BUFFALO AND NORTH CAROLINA client trips.
• Tracks regional/individual sales and produces regional/individual scorecard reports by managing confidential correspondence/reports/data transmission, entering/retrieving confidential sales information, and gathering data/report output within established reporting deadlines (forecasts, orders/shipments, etc.) for key assigned dealers/accounts. Provides weekly/monthly reports on Sales activity including client coverage, and RFPs.
• Responsible for coordinating and referring internal sales/dealer activities/inquiries and follow-up on customer service issues, paperwork, etc., and may act as a liaison for as appropriate.
• Researches and develops clients/competitor information as requested by CSE and on assigned accounts.
• Develops/produces marketing/advertising tools for use by CSEs as appropriate and local sales team on assigned accounts, write/edit client materials (proposals, letters, brochures, posters, invitations, thank you notes, holiday cards, etc.).
• Produces/updates pricing signal/contracts as needed/appropriate.
• Take ownership to resolve dealer support inquiries, executing independent judgement, research and networking to resolve elevated inquires in a complex environment
• Works closely with the CSE team to design/test/assess campaigns for their respective local markets that increase customer connections and result in lasting relationships.
• Acts as subject matter expert on assigned topic areas in support of the broader team effort. To include but not limited to GEIGER DIGITAL TOOLS, marketing demand generation, research trends, planning/space layouts, webinars.
• Adapts procedures, processes, and techniques to accomplish the more complex requirements of the position.
• Agility to frequently work across internal departments to present challenges and collaboratively solve improving efficiency, processes and tools.
• Manages within assigned expense budget.
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in DESIGN or proven equivalent professional experience.
• One to two years of professional Design, Sales, or Marketing experience.
• Works independently under general supervision.
• Proven ability in using good independent judgment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exhibit positive customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external business partners.
• Detail-oriented and maintains a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent written/verbal skills that include demonstrated negotiation and presentation skills.
• Exhibits ability to work cooperatively both in a team environment and independently.
• Handles confidential information with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
• Strong time management, multitasking, process management, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software, and tools currently used in the MillerKnoll office environment.
• Ability to travel as needed to achieve business objectives.
