JOB POSITION
- Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking an Associate Director, Change & Program Management.
- CGS India is on a transformation journey and Change Management & Program Management is crucial towards making CGS an exemplar GCC.
- This role stands at the forefront—leading structured change and program management to deliver high-impact transformation initiatives with precision in time, cost, and outcomes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- The potential candidate will lead the strategic vision, design, and execution of change and programs involving transformation across global platforms, systems, applications, tools, and technologies.
- This role combines change leadership with hands-on program delivery, ensuring that associated business processes, systems & tools are transformed and aligned with enterprise transformation agenda.
- This role requires an experienced professional in change and program management with deep expertise in leading change, delivering large programs. business transformation with a passion to drive transformation, build change mindset and lead programs with pace and quality.
- Lead CGS India wide strategic change in alignment with organizational goals and future readiness.
- Define and execute change strategy, program management and business impact measurement.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with business, corporate functions and global stakeholders to deliver high-impact change initiatives.
- Champions change across business processes and systems to enhance employee experience and business outcomes.
- Bring deep change and program management expertise and a proven capability to define and lead change across large enterprises.
- Lead program management efforts to ensure timely, high-quality execution of initiatives across geographies.
- Stakeholder Alignment and Engagement: Ensure consistent and proactive engagement with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and impacted stakeholders to build trust, reduce resistance, and drive adoption of change initiatives.
- Adopt techniques like design thinking mindset and agile planning to put customer / associate at the center of solution and refine design from continuous feedback.
- Apply a broad understanding of cross-functional dependencies to develop change solutions that address complex, multi-domain challenges.
- Govern Strategic Initiatives Across Business Units: Oversee program management for critical initiatives spanning CGS, Carelon, and Commercialization customers—ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and seamless cross-functional execution.
- Influence and Align Global Stakeholders: Engage proactively with global and local leadership to shape business priorities, resolve dependencies, and foster a shared vision for transformation outcomes.
- Build Ecosystems for Thought Leadership and Capability Development: Forge external partnerships with industry experts and research bodies to co-create future-ready practices. Promote a vibrant PM Community of Practice (CoP) to enable continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively influence strategy and decision making across multiple levels of the organization and diverse business & technology groups.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and gravitas to interact and manage expectations with senior leaders, stakeholders and management.

QUALIFICATION
- Minimum education: B. Tech, MBA or Master’s degree. Specialized training, certifications, and/or other special requirements: PMP, PRINCE.
- Scaled Agile Certification
- Preferred Education: Computer Science, Management, experience in Consulting Practices.
EXPERIENCE
- Institutionalization of Change Management Culture: Experience in establishing a structured and repeatable change management framework across the organization, embedding change leadership capabilities into business units and enabling a culture that embraces transformation.
- Successful Execution of Strategic Transformation Programs: Experience in driving end-to-end change initiatives aligned with business strategy—ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and measurable impact across large-scale programs such as digital transformation, operating model shifts, or organizational redesign.
- Capability Building and Change Readiness: Experience in designing, developing and implementing internal capabilities through training, coaching, and toolkits that prepare teams for change. Assess and improve organizational readiness to absorb and sustain change effectively.
- Measurable Business Impact and Value Realization: Experience in translating change initiatives into tangible business outcomes—such as improved productivity, enhanced customer experience, cost savings, or innovation acceleration—while tracking KPIs and ROI of change programs.
- Lead Execution of High-Impact Strategic Programs: Experience in driving enterprise-level transformation initiatives with a focus on delivering measurable ROI, accelerated time-to-market, and disciplined execution. Champion best-in-class program management practices to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Standardize Program Management Practices: Experience in developing and implementing a comprehensive Project Management Guidebook to institutionalize standardized methodologies, processes, and template driving uniformity and quality across all strategic programs.
- Experience in utilizing Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira etc.)
- Experience in reviewing & baselining process metrics to measure end-to-end project life cycle results against KPIs.
- Experience in identifying root Cause Analysis trends / patterns and Identify Corrective and Preventive actions.
- Experience in analyzing defect trends and issues and identifying systemic process improvements.

PROFESSIONAL EXPEREINCE
- 18–20 years of experience in large multinational corporations and/or leading IT services firms, with a proven track record of leading change and programs including Technology, Operations, Corporate Functions at scale.
- 8–10 years of hands-on expertise in change & program management reporting and delivering impactful outcomes.
- Good knowledge of Healthcare or BFSI domain.
- Certification in relevant process areas of change and program management.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional and technology teams to deliver integrated and business-aligned solutions.
- Experienced in engaging with senior leadership and executive stakeholders to influence strategic direction and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into process or technology-enabled solutions.
- Wide experience in technology platforms and tools, including functional expertise in solutions such as Org Design, Work or Workforce transformation and others.
- Proficient in MS office and other collaboration tools.
