Change Expert IV (GJA level 17) | Expert Team COO
Organisational context
You will be part of the COO Tech & Transformation organisation that reports into CTO. You will be a member of the Change Execution Team COO, which is one of the Group Functions change expert teams who report into the Head of Global Change & Transformation Capabilities.
The Change Execution Team COO consists of 12 colleagues who drive COO change initiatives with a global scope to ensure that ING delivers on its strategic objectives and external commitments.
You will be part of an inclusive global change community which develops the global change practice and capability of all change practitioners within ING’s international network.
What you will do:
- You are successfully part of global programs (or workstreams) throughout all phases of the change life cycle: starting the change (idea/initiation), delivering the change and closing the change
- You provide input for the set-up of an effective program (or workstream) governance and a clear roadmap with key milestones (deliverables) and due dates
- You are involved in managing and monitoring the program (or workstream) and its related delivery risks
- You support the progress report of the program (or workstream) within agreed timelines, ensure quality assurance, manage impediments, ensure insight in critical path as well as dependencies
- You also play a role to ensure that the outcomes of the program (or workstream) are embedded in the business as usual
- You pro-actively share lessons learned as we want to be a learning organisation
What we are looking for:
- You are a change expert with more than 10 years of experience with the delivery of global change initiatives (cross functions and cross countries) in the financial service industry
- You have relevant working experience in financial crime prevention, fraud prevention, client tax services, data management, data operations, artificial intelligence & analytics, operational resilience and/or risk management.
- You have an understanding of the legislative framework within which banks operate and the associated regulatory, supervisory requirements.
- You have sufficient degree of resilience, organisational sensitivity, data fluency and cultural agility.
- You have the ability to deal with ambiguity, a strong focus on results and collaboration
- You have a global and growth mindset
- You have the motivation to contribute to the development of the global change practice
- You have a good command of English language (written and verbal)
- You have a Master’s degree and relevant certifications (e.g. MSP, Agile PgM)
