About the Team
Business Technology(BT) in Workday continues its mission to deliver unparalleled value to our business partners and customers. The Strategy and Business Operations team works with stakeholders within BT and outside to define, align on, and implement the strategic programs and operations. The team is also responsible for standardizing program methodologies, tools and operations across the BT organization to provide a unified experience to business stakeholders and customers.About the Role
You are an experienced IT Change Enablement professional with a passion for understanding the human side of change. You have the ability to mobilize employees toward a common goal and a strong desire to learn and develop.
You’ll lead IT change enablement to ensure employees have the information they need and inspiration to adopt IT changes swiftly and seamlessly. You understand IT and are able to create integrated deployment strategies and plans and ensure a positive experience for end users.
An excitement for rolling out new technology in a global organization and understanding change management principles is critical to being successful in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you’re responsible for executing and delivering high-quality BT change and communications deliverables. Cross-functional partners will benefit from your expertise in IT change management, communications and business transformation. Other responsibilities include the following:
Create and execute the Change Strategy: from ideation to execution — that educates audiences about BT change enablement initiatives, including how each communications tactic will be reviewed/approved, delivered, and measured.
Apply Change Management Methodology: Support BT teams in assessing change impacts and recommending change strategies and plans to ensure optimal user experience.
Develop High-Quality, Consumable Content: Create and refine high-quality, consumable communications materials that translate complex IT processes, tools, and systems into clear, simple language for end-users, focusing on how changes affect daily work. Materials include: Drafting and posting Slack messages and managing communication channels for real-time updates. Creating email updates. Producing and editing short-form video tutorials, demos, and visual aids. Maintaining and updating Intranet pages and comprehensive FAQs for self-service support.
Support AI Integration Exploration: Assist in exploring how to effectively integrate AI tools into communication and content creation workflows to enhance efficiency.
Deliver Adoption Support Materials: Support the BT teams by creating materials to enable the adoption of changes resulting from new system implementations and business processes, ensuring alignment with the overall change strategy.
Facilitate Cohesive Communications: Work closely with IT product managers, enablement, and communications teams to coordinate content delivery and ensure a consistent message and cohesive approach for change and adoption across all platforms.
Track Adoption Success: Collect, organize, and report on defined adoption metrics for new products, tools, and/or processes, supporting the team's efforts to track and measure the success of adoption activities.
Drive Timely Delivery: Consistently act with organization and a strong sense of urgency to deliver assignments and projects on time and to specification, even in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of work experience in IT change enablement, strategy and communications within a fast-paced, dynamic environment in the tech industry
7+ years of experience with collaboration tools (G Suite, Zoom, Slack, and Smartsheet).
5+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
Certification in a formal change management methodology including: PROSCI, CCMP highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, change management, or related work experience

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
