Transaction Services (TS) is one of ING WB core business lines. We offer a suite of WB products and services to corporate and institutional clients. The purpose of the TS Delivery Management organization is to make our clients successful by offering them seamlessly integrated TS solutions. We have a global mandate to improve products in such a way that internationally operating clients experience ING as one bank across the entire ING network. We have the asset ownership for all IT assets in scope. We are responsible for the delivery of services to our clients and stakeholders.

As a Change Portfolio Consultant (CPC) within the TS Delivery Management organization, you will work for the whole department, including the five Product Areas:

1. Payments & Channels

2. Reporting & Cards

3. Accounts & Cash Management

4. Pricing & Billing

5. Trade

As a CPC you have a responsibility for initiating and leading improvement projects for Delivery Management. You will support the Delivery teams with the overarching product delivery roadmaps, the Dynamic Plan and the portfolio management with the WB CTO organisation. You support the Head of Delivery where requested. You coordinate internal delivery management communication, sourcing and service delivery. You have expertise in the areas of product development and delivery and in change management.  

As a Change Portfolio Consultant

  • You will report to the Head of TS Delivery Management
  • You focus on the overarching activities in the delivery organisation to improve and accelerate delivery and employee experience.
  • Make sure the Delivery Management is supported with the management information and reports, to develop and monitor performance  

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Delivery Management and Delivery Areas in the full process of Change delivery, from Dynamic plan to execution (QBR process, portfolio and performance management, actuals of change) 
  • Act as coordinator of the yearly WB dynamic plan (DP)-process. In the DP-process you will be the linking pin between Wholesale Transformation office (WTO), Delivery Areas (business and IT), TS strategy team and Finance, ensuring high data quality and that timelines are met.
  • Act as single point of entry for Finance (business and Tech), PSS, TS Strategy team and WTO for questions and requests related to DP process
  • Translate the data of the DP templates into reliable summary reports that can be used for different purposes in the DP process (management level presentations, alignment with IT, demanding/supplier parties Finance and internal Delivery organization)
  • Perform monthly analysis of actuals of change portfolio, working together with DALs/ITALs summarizing generic conclusions and sharing outcome with stakeholders like Finance and Wholesale Transformation office (WTO). Initiate correction actions with Finance and WTO if applicable
  • Support the Areas with the SNOW PPM data quality administration to ensure correct reporting of KPIs and correct financials of change portfolio
  • Support Delivery Management with the QBR process, ensuring guidelines from Wholesale Transformation Office are followed, organizing cross area alignment meeting, acting as entry point for communication of issues towards TS Market Place and responsible for delivering the overall TS Delivery QBR
  • Represent Delivery management in the Transformation office Guild, cascading actions/guidelines which are relevant for the areas.  In this context act as coordinator of action points assigned to Delivery management to ensure correct follow up of actions and on time closure 
  • Responsible for monthly review/analysis of TS Delivery Own costs, working together with TS Strategy team defining and executing actions to keep correct administration of Run and change costs
  • Support the Head of Delivery Management with financial analysis and data as input for drafting presentations on various topics for senior management

Other responsibilities

  • Support the TS Delivery MT organizing agendas of MT meetings and quarterly Portfolio and Performance meetings
  • Coordinate communications and presentations for various key stakeholders, including conferences, panels, townhalls
  • Preparation and facilitation of MT meetings and employee gatherings
  • Organize knowledge sessions with new team member who are expected to be involved in DP activities

Proven track record and technical skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a consultant and in change, transformation and/or portfolio management
  • Master’s degree will be considered a plus
  • >5 years of WB experience with good understanding of ING’s business lines, products and processes. Experience and knowledge of TS products, channels, and delivery organization is beneficial
  • Finance background or previous role in Finance is beneficial
  • Strong analytical capabilities, quantitative insights and problem-solving skills
  • High resilience, the ability to deal with ambiguity and manage complexity
  • Experience in managing change portfolio (dynamic plans, Agile way of working)
  • Excellent Excell skills, data enrichment (power query) and pivots tables
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
