Expectations:

Under the supervision of the Department Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Charge Nurse, provides patient care and assists physicians in achieving surgical goals.
This position requires flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:
Effective with employees hired or transferred on or after 10/1/16. Graduate from an accredited school of Surgical Technologists.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Effective with employees hired or transferred on or after 10/1/16. A minimum of one year previous experience as a surgical technologist.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Certification of Surgical Technologists (CST) issued by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

SKILLS:
Ability to work effectively with many different people in stressful situations.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $33.44 - $51.00.

Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
