Schedule:  Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. No weekends and no evenings!

The wage range is from $23 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate’s work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

 

Your Role: 

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment 

  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow 

  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required 

  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards 

  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care 

  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks 

  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care 

  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines 

  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour 

 

About You: 

  • Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required 

  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
