What this job involves

This Centre Manager will look after the day-to-day property management of Floreat Forum and West Leederville Shopping Centre in accordance with duties and KPI’s identified with the Management Agreement.

You will take responsibility and lead by example a team in managing, leasing, marketing and operating the centres to the very highest of professional standards to maximise the net return to the Owner.

  • You will be responsible for: Implementation of all responsibilities as specified in the Management Agreement.

  • Preparation and analysis of income/expenditure budgets, business plans, monthly reports, outgoings recoveries, forecasts and audits in accordance with the owner’s critical dates.  Communicate strategy and asset/business plans to the management team.

  • If required, assist in preparation of Leasing Documentation/Disclosure Packages as per Owner’s requirements and in conjunction with the Leasing Agent.

  • Maintaining the centres to the very highest of standards and minimising the liability risk exposure of the Owner and JLL.

  • Regular site property inspections and completing Property Inspection reports.  Follow up on any issues in a timely manner.

  • Work with external consultants and implement any recommendations to improve retailer productivity and presentation.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with retailers to ensure that all opportunities are explored to improve productivity.

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • Previous 5+ years retail property management experience is required with a thorough knowledge of all property related functions and the Retail Act.

  • Real Estate & Business Sales Representative Registration (including Property Managers) within the State of Western Australia is required.

  • Degree in Property, Business, Management or related discipline is desirable.

  • Excellent reporting, analysing and Microsoft Office skills
