Details of the Division and Team:
This role is responsible for leading and managing Cash Operations activities for Hong Kong, ensuring operational excellence, strong risk and control discipline, and high‑quality service delivery to business and clients. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in cash and payments operations, a strong understanding of evolving industry trends, and the ability to drive transformation and efficiency in a regulated environment.
The role partners closely with regional stakeholders and supports the APAC Cash Operations Head in managing operational risks, stability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities:
Lead and manage end‑to‑end Cash Operations processing in Hong Kong, ensuring timely, accurate, and high‑quality support to business and clients.
Provide strong oversight of production controls, issue management, and escalation processes, while proactively managing internal and external audits.
Drive consistent, standardized, and effective risk and control practices in line with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Proactively identify, manage, and resolve operational issues, providing clear options and recommendations where challenges arise.
Execute the Cash Operations transformation agenda to build scalable, sustainable, and cost‑effective operations, working closely with key stakeholders and partners to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.
Drive an efficient operating model, including effective near‑shoring and off‑shoring arrangements.
Act as an escalation point for material operational issues, supporting the APAC Cash Operations Head as required.
Partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to continuously improve operational stability, resilience, and process efficiency.
Your skills and experience:
Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in a financial services organization, with proven expertise in Cash and Payments products and operations.
Strong knowledge of cash operations processes across functions and locations within the Asia‑Pacific region.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage Cash Operations activities in Hong Kong.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Solid technical and commercial understanding of operations products and end‑to‑end operational processes.
Proven people‑management and organizational skills, with experience managing teams across multiple geographies.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to take ownership and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity, with a proven track record of leading risk and control initiatives within an operational setup.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for driving change and improvement.
Working knowledge of automation tools, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Working knowledge of human‑centred design / design thinking methodologies.
