Korea is one of the most important countries for Dyson not only due to its sizeable business but also strategic importance of very competitive electric appliance market.
As a junior member of the Korea Beauty Category team and reporting into the Senior Category Manager who is responsible for KR Beauty business, this role executes marketing activities based on the Dyson Beauty strategy.
The Dyson category team is responsible for a category business from its top-bottom line. The role of the Category Executive Hair Care is beyond branding, product marketing, or marketing communication, it is expected to develop strategy with deep understanding of market, competitions, retail, and customers and then lead execution working with a wide range of stakeholders not only in the marketing team but also with logistics, sales, finance, etc. The team needs to work as a true business leader for the business.
The Category Executive Hair Care will work together with the Beauty Category Team and with the Group (Global Category Team) in the below areas.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Develop marketing execution plans accordingly to meet our vision and objectives in short term and long term
Work with Beauty team to define existing and new consumer target(s) and segments and develop propositions and programs to drive business within them
Execute marketing plans for Beauty to differentiate Dyson, build brand equity and drive consumer purchase
Conduct competitor and market analysis, including product and claim analysis, to develop counter strategies and initiatives
Deliver program of marketing activity leading asset creation and execution of the marketing campaign for Beauty
Collaborate with internal and external partners to contribute execution of go-to-market strategies, ongoing support including new product launches, advertising creative, media planning, channel strategies, public relations, point of sale, promotions etc.
Plan social & influencer contents with Media team
Coordinate all stakeholders to execute entire category marketing plan. Retail marketing, Media team, Retail development, CoE creative, agency, sales (both direct and indirect channels), training, etc.
Encourage and support stakeholders in executions and take responsibility on outputs
To be successful in this role you will be a team player who is flexible, patient and open to new ideas. You are able to work cross functionally and manage stakeholders competently. You have a strong aptitude in analytics and strategic thinking, inter-personal communication; clear and concise at all levels.
Previous skills & experience:-
+4-7years of marketing experience required; some of which must be with a strong consumer brand
In-depth understanding of brand marketing from the concept to execution
Hands-on experience of planning and operating marketing campaign, media and contents
Fluency in English is mandatory
