Salary Range: $15 - $16.77 Per Hour

Job Summary: This position is located in the Club Division, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. The incumbent performs a wide variety of work assignments during various shifts in support of the club operations.

Major Duties:

  • Verifies all cash received, to include dollar change fund. Receives, counts, and verifies monies received with daily cash reports for accuracy. Greets guests and seats customers at their tables, provide menus Cashes out all customer dining room checks via point of sales system (POS), to include banquet contracts Assures that all patrons furnish proper identification when situation warrants such action. Resets slot machines after jackpot payout Maintains necessary records and prepares required reports for each shift including daily activity report and verifies employee change funds. Answers incoming phone calls to take reservations, take out orders and answers any inquiries about upcoming events at the officer Club. Maintains the work area in a presentable condition. Incumbent must present a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance at all times and must work harmoniously with co-workers and members of the MWR Department. Performs other related duties as assigned.

(MUST submit proof at the time of application) Six (6) months general experience. Must be able to handle money accurately. Ability to operate a cash register and personal computer. Incumbent must have basic accounting knowledge. Must possess good customer service skills.
