We have multiple entry level opportunities in our Claims teams where you will manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims while working closely with injured workers, employers and treating health practitioners.

Case management at EML is a team effort. You will be supported by experienced specialists including Technical Specialists, Injury Management Specialists, Mobile Case Managers and Team Leaders.

Your focus will be delivering a high level of service while supporting injured workers in their recovery and return to work.

As part of our interview process, successfully reviewed applicants will need to be available to attend a face-to-face group interview on Thursday, 16th April 2026.

The positions will be a full time, permanent commencing on the 18th May 2026 based in our Newcastle office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week) considered after successful completion of probation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide early, timely and empathetic service to injured workers and employers.

  • Manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims in line with legislation and compliance requirements.

  • Deliver a positive customer experience while overseeing end to end outcomes for each claim.

  • Communicate accurate and clear information about claims, entitlements, obligations and available options.

  • Conduct claim reviews, case conferences and face to face meetings with clients when required.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in medical, hospitality, retail or corporate environments with a strong customer service focus is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.

  • Proactive and self motivated with the ability to think creatively when engaging with workers, employers and providers.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
