Major Duties:
Qualifications: Motivated trades person who demonstrates knowledge of a variety of trade methods and techniques associated with Carpentry or a related trade. Must have the ability to use hand and power tools. Must possess knowledge of advanced shop mathematics and have the ability to read, interpret, and apply building plans, specifications, diagrams, blueprints, sketches, and building codes. Must have knowledge of the Uniform Building Code. Must demonstrate the ability to lead the work of others. Must demonstrate skill and knowledge of methods, techniques, and tools relevant to the trade. Must have the ability to perform construction, maintenance, and repair to structures, structural items, equipment, fixtures and utilities. Must be able to plan and complete Journeyman level work. Must be able to interpret sketches, schematics and blueprints. Must have knowledge of the Uniform Building Code. Must be skilled in the use of equipment and have knowledge of safety practices common to the trades. An annual physical and a California drivers license if required

Required Documents 1. Furnish a copy of the PCS orders with reporting date to the new duty station and authorized move with spouse. If the spouse is not listed on the PCS orders, the spouse must provide documentation (i.e. marriage certificate, valid military ID, etc.) verifying marriage prior to PCS orders (must have been married to the military sponsor before relocation to the new duty station). 2. For spouses with current or prior Federal service, submit a copy of the most recent performance appraisal rating and, if applicable, documentation of appointment eligibility.
