The USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology is seeking a Career Services Specialist with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with students and community partners to support undergraduate and graduate students in transitioning from the classroom to the workforce.This position supports students through internship placements and ongoing engagement with community organizations to expand internship and employment opportunities for current students and recent graduates. Virtual and in-person events support students and alumni in their professional development while strengthening connections with employer partners.
This position reports to the Senior Associate Dean and is part of the Student Services team.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have four or more years of experience in career services advising and must hold a bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
The salary range for this position is $83,000.00 to $90,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
