Your Opportunity
At MAC River, we provide a safe and supportive residential rehabilitation service for young people aged 13-18 grappling with chronic drug and alcohol issues. Our mission is to empower these young individuals through trauma-informed and culturally safe care, guiding them on a transformative journey for three months in residence followed by six months of aftercare in the community.
We're looking for passionate and driven people to join this valuable service. We are keen to speak with people interested in the following roles:
Residential Youth Workers – walk alongside the young person every day. Support young people’s recovery and wellbeing while they live in a residential setting. Provide care, structure, guidance, and positive role modelling day‑to‑day. Work shifts including days, nights and weekends.
Case Workers - act as the key point of contact for the young person, Mac River and external services. Assess needs, develop and manage individualised case plans, and coordinate services to support a young person’s recovery, safety, and transition out of residential care.
After Care Case Workers - are the bridge between residential treatment and independent or community living. Ensure the gains made in the program by a young person are maintained in the community, reducing relapse risk and supporting long‑term recovery.
