Join us as a Capital Partners - Data and Reporting Analyst
Data and Reporting Analyst is a key member of the Reporting and Governance team focusing on the day-to-day reporting needs across Private Banking. S/he is responsible for managing documentation of requirements, processes, and procedures, as well as focusing on ensuring data integrity throughout all phases of the reporting life cycle.
The Primary focus of the role will be to provide reporting and data governance support to the Reporting & Governance Team as well as business users. The position will work independently and with management to develop, align, revise, and publish reports, which meet the needs of multiple constituencies.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Create and deliver routine and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Collect data from multiple sources and databases to create reporting that can be used to drive decision making.
Develop and create data layout designs, charts, graphs, heat maps and process flow diagrams.
Perform operational audits on a consistent basis.
Analyze data needs and make recommendations for automated repeatable processes.
Handle small projects, present results, and meet with manager to review outcomes.
Develop and enhance processes utilizing forms, templates, and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Confluence.
Collaborate with business owners / stakeholders to understand business needs, and project specifications.
Document business requirements to depict user needs with complimentary technical requirements.
Provide regular updates to keep end users informed of progress and issues. Lead deliverables as assigned, incorporating standard project management methodologies.
Assist in the review, testing and implementation various reporting platforms.
Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation for the Reporting and Governance team as well as internal clients.
Monitor and track production issues by responding to clients, connecting with Technology, and raising JIRA tickets.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
1-3 years of related industry or reporting and analytics experience. Financial services industry knowledge and experience preferred
Experience with all phases of the technology development lifecycle
Proficiency using MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Access
Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
Knowledgeable in SQL and reporting tools such as PowerBi, Tableau, Qlik
Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business users
Proactive and results-oriented
Consultative and advisory skills with ability to work and communicate professionally
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
