As the Capital Markets Associate, you'll support the head of capital markets and act as the main point of contact to capital partners. You'll prepare reports, schedule meetings, and answer inquiries.
About the role
Build and manage strong relationships with current partners
Serve as the main point of contact between capital partners and the business and provide transparent, reliable, and consistent communication
Keep stakeholders up to date regarding portfolio activity and reporting
Create and distribute financial reports and underwriting memos
Lead planning and preparation for annual meetings and capital partner conferences
Brand management (IR boxes, holiday gifts, etc.)
Process and distribute a high volume of internal and external mail, email, and voicemail
Organize and record financial transactions and data
Organize, schedule, and prioritize meeting requests by working proactively to mitigate scheduling conflicts
Conduct research, compile data, and prepare drafts of team meeting proposals, presentations and emails for presentation by executive leaders
Make decisions on matters of significance on behalf of the leader
Review inquires directed to their executive leader and determine the proper course of action to complete the request or complete the request on behalf of their leader
About you
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of experience in investing or supporting investing operations
1 year of experience creating financial reports
Advanced knowledge of the business area
Some experience managing initiatives
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of experience in investing or supporting investing operations
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or equivalent experience or a willingness to learn and take CFA Level 1 exam
Understanding of project/program development and implementation
Understanding of the strategic goal of the business area in relation to the overall organization
