As the Canada Planning & Forecasting Lead, you will be the key finance partner driving forecasting accuracy, insightful reporting, and high‑quality financial planning supporting Commercial LOC Finance Team and General Manager.

You will lead annual budgets, long‑range planning, monthly cycles, as well as, coordinating, supervising and consolidating any analytical requests in partnership with Business Unit Finance, General Manager, and senior cross‑functional leaders to enable sound financial decisions and support business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment to financial objectives and market priorities
  • Coordinate the Annual Budget and Long‑Range Planning (LRP) processes.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional alignment to ensure forecasts reflect operational and strategic priorities.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and quarterly Price Volume analysis.
  • Support standard cost flip process.
  • Prepare and manage performance decks and other senior‑level reporting.
  • Cash flow forecasting cycles.
  • Continuously improve forecasting accuracy, planning processes, and reporting tools.
  • Review monthly actuals for overheads cost centers, ensuring accuracy and driving corrective journal entries when needed.
  • Ensure reporting tools and models remain accurate, updated, and user‑friendly for decision making.
  • Partner with Finance Controllers, Finance Directors, and Commercial teams to ensure financial consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Global Finance teams as needed to meet key deliverables.

Why you?
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in driving business value with market specific insight of financial data.
  • Proficient financial knowledge of analysis, evaluation, modelling and forecasting. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are critical.
  • Strong understanding of corporate financial management with concentration in financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and ERP systems, Power BI and Excel.
  • English C1 required.
  • Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively influence senior stakeholders.
  • Agility and being able to work under stretched timelines.
  • Ability to plan and organize complex activities and follow-up on deliverables with stakeholders
