Step into a pivotal role at the centre of Property and Facilities’ Campus Operations team at UQ. As the Campus Operations, Administration Officer, you will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of procurement, client facilities support, contract administration, and general administrative services.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Campus Operations, you will also be responsible for delivering a broad range of administrative processes that contribute to effective team operations and successful office outcomes.
This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic team environment, further develop your professional skills, and play a key role in enhancing service delivery across the Campus Operations team. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide high-level administrative support and office coordination for the Campus Operations team, including general administration duties and accurate record keeping.
Support maintenance and campus operations by analysing data, preparing reports, and assisting with operational processes and documentation.
Manage invoicing requirements by processing invoices, raising requisitions, monitoring approvals, and supporting budgeting and cost reviews.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, ensure operational requirements are met, and contribute to service delivery improvements.
Assist with stakeholder communication by providing accurate information, coordinating meeting minutes, and ensuring effective understanding of maintenance and operational processes.

Completion of administration related Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and / or education / training.
Sound knowledge of the University’s policies and procedures or the ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the University’s financial management policies and procedures (eg Unifi and Business Objects/Reportal) or the ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge.
Sound computing skills including experience with Microsoft software applications.
Experience with record keeping and data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in routine administration duties.
High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
Ability to set realistic work priorities appropriate to meeting deadlines and commitments, with a high level of personal organisation skills with the ability to work autonomously.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia.
