Position Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated leader to join the Spare Engine Services Team as a Campaign Manager.

  • You will be a primary leadership contact for Lease Engine Campaigns covering Trent and 535 fleets.  This will include engine acquisition, disposal and exchange projects. 
  • This role requires engagement across a broad number of areas, including; Overhaul Services, On Wing Services and Logistics, Commercial, Regional, Aether (our asset manager) and Value Stream Teams.
  • Currently there are over 600 lease engines in service across all Civil Aerospace fleets which are used to support our customers in maintaining operational spare engine levels within their fleets. These engines provide short- and long-term spare engines for requirements ranging from urgent and immediate AOG support through to longer term planned allocations to support heavy engine removal programmes.
  • The management of acquisitions and disposals is key to ensuring the fleet is the right size to support our customer and business needs.

This position, reporting to the Vice President – Spare Engine Services, and will lead and integrate the overall programme of engine transitions:

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and develop an integrated plan for Disposals, Acquisitions, and Exchanges.
  • Standardise the methods, tools and practices to support effective management of the pool.
  • Support the development of lease pool strategies.
  • Understand and manage the end of Head Lease process to ensure return requirements and timescales are met.
  • Work closely with the Customer Regional teams and Airframer in communicating policies, risks and mitigations, and where necessary providing input to or supporting customer reviews
  • Own and manage fleet issues and containment / modification campaigns including Major Event Centre support.
  • Drive progress on all campaign work involving close collaboration with Aether, Value streams and Regional teams
  • Understand drivers for lease pool sizing and to have the ability to prioritise accordingly

Position Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or knowledge of service delivery, MRO or operations in R-R
  • Understanding of Product Time on Wing drivers, fleet health and MRO practices
  • Personal drive and motivation to reconcile different business objectives through excellent collaboration and innovative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and apply logical thinking to support creation of recommendations to achieve business goals
