Test Equipment Services team is looking for a technician to join our Refrigeration team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  This position is responsible for supporting the thermocycling equipment by calibrating, repairing, troubleshooting, and monitoring test equipment to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.  We are looking for a highly skilled technician with a background in refrigeration and air conditioning.   Team member will also need knowledge of electronics, electrical circuitry, troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude. 

What You Will Do
•    Knowledge of electrical circuitry to be able to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
•    Actively promotes team decision making
•    Provides technical recommendations for capital, expense, and service acquisitions
•    Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines
•    Maintain accurate records of work performed
•    Collaborate with team members and provide technical support as needed
•    Ability to troubleshoot and repair off prints or written work instructions

Qualifications You Must Have
•    Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience 

Qualifications We Prefer
•    Familiarity with TEMS+ and TEN a plus
•    Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one
•    Experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical
•    Refrigeration and welding principals a plus
•    Excellent communication, both written and verbal

The salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
