The role we are offering you:

 

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to support the Legal team (Defense & Security) on both Canadian and international matters.

Are you ready to:

  • Provide support to the Legal team by drafting, reviewing, and/or editing a variety of documents based on CAE’s standard templates, including non-disclosure agreements, service contract renewals or amendments, and the preparation of schedules and statements of work;

  • Draft summaries of significant agreements;

  • Contribute to the development of tools for the Legal department and assist lawyers in preparing training materials for internal clients on various topics;

  • Participate in the development, implementation, and updating of contract templates, reference documents, and databases, and contribute to improving internal processes; and

  • Draft, review, and support negotiations of Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) collaboration agreements with third parties.

  • Bilingualism (English and French), both written and spoken.

 

Preferred Education

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Common Law (or equivalent experience).

Location of the internship is Montreal, Quebec.

 

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

 

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
