Business Unit Overview:

Blackstone Private Equity Strategies (“BXPE”) is Blackstone’s flagship private equity offering for individual investors. BXPE is a perpetual fund which invests in diversified global private equity opportunities alongside Blackstone’s private equity platform. The team invests across 15+ PE strategies spanning industries, geographies and investment structures, representing the breadth of Blackstone’s equity investing capabilities.

Job Description:

The Vice President will join the BXPE Client Solutions team and support ongoing product development, fundraising initiatives, and strategic growth efforts across the Private Equity platform. The role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, applying a broad skill set, and partnering closely with internal stakeholders to help drive commercial success across BXPE products.

The Vice President will play a key role in developing and scaling BXPE through new distribution channels and extension vehicles, while enabling effective engagement with investors and distribution partners.

The main areas of responsibility include:

  • Strategic Initiatives & Growth Opportunities: Lead and execute cross-functional initiatives designed to improve product scalability and investor experience.
  • Product Strategy: Assist in the planning, structuring, and execution of business development initiatives for fundraising.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our Private Equity investment products, including their investment objectives and performance characteristics
  • Project Management: Spearhead multiple concurrent projects, managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Ongoing Product Management: Support lifecycle management of existing fundraising efforts, including updates to materials, performance reporting coordination, and responses to ad hoc investor requests.

Qualifications:                                       

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound professional judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and time management skills, the successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

  • 5+  years of professional experience
  • Exhibited high motivation (a self-starter), intelligence, and excellence in prior endeavors
  • Must multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments, to meet demanding deadlines                                                    
  • Produce creative, compelling, and detailed marketing materials and interpret and present complex investment concepts in a simplistic manner
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a demonstrated effective writing skills
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Be a team-oriented individual who thrives on challenge in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated a strong work ethic and desire to work effectively, both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Professional integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity
  • Prior work experience in investor relations, credit, and/or finance is preferred

Expected annual base salary range:

$185,000 - $200,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
