Your role at Baxter:
Serve as supply chain partner to BU, to lead demand planning, supply planning, inventory management and direct procumbent. The role encompasses a high level of risk management and order management accountabilities.
What you’ll be doing:
• Work with all S&OP stakeholders to continuously drive demand forecast, forecast accuracy and demand fulfillment rate.
• Develop and be responsible for the inventory plan and execution for the market. Supply to inventory optimization opportunity analysis and deployment. Analyze and report inventory variance.
• Own the communication strategy to the commercial team for supply issues.
• Understand, resolve, communicate, bring up low cover products.
• Manage back-order risks with Supply Planner and communicate to commercial teams.
• Lead the strategic stock build planning for the market driven by import license registration, M&A, supply issue, etc.
• Develop and be responsible for the inventory plan and execution for the market.
• Order management including Order replenishment plan, purchase order creation in SAP / JDE system, monitoring inbound POs, and work with Supply Planner, global logistics and transportation, shipping site, global carriers and foreign trade to find resolution to short term supply issues.
• Monitor customer limits and rebalance product allocation, when needed in collaboration with marketing partners.
• Provide country or market-level feedback to Network Planner and Supply (Network) Manager.
• Lead new product launches and product phase outs within the market.
• • Make decisions and approve all Supply issue resolution for imported products.
• Complete monthly reserve proposal, identify and communicate opportunities for discard avoidance.
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor degree; Preferred major: Trade, Logistics, Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Management.
5+ years relevant working experience preferred.
Import/export experience or SAP and JDE knowledge is a plus.
Process and detail oriented
Willing and able to drive for results
Data driven
Proficient English in both written and oral
