We are looking for an experienced Buyer with a focus on IT procurement. This role will play a critical part in consolidating our supplier base and optimizing renewals and commitments across software, services, cloud, and other IT categories, whilst ensuring alignment with ION Group procurement standards.

Your role: 
Your key duties and responsibilities
·         Proactively manage supply contract procurement, working closely with Purchasing Areas and the Legal Department;
·         Identify opportunities to achieve business savings using negotiation and procurement best practices, tools, and methods;
·         Independently manage tenders and bid evaluations;
·         Monitor market trends and suppliers, and conduct price benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities;
·         Perform analysis on new and existing costs, and review cost reduction and cost avoidance activities;
·         Ensure compliance with ION Group procurement objectives, policies, and procedures during supplier negotiations and contract award processes.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications required
·         Master’s degree (Economics, Law, or Engineering);
·         Solid knowledge of modern procurement methods, procedures, best practices, and supporting tools;
·         Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the IT industry;
·         Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven, solution-oriented mindset;
·         Excellent negotiation, communication, and teamwork skills;
·         Flexibility, proactivity, and willingness to continuously learn and improve;
·         High level of commitment and ownership;
·         Excellent knowledge of the English language;
·         Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (in particular Excel) and ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Jaggaer, etc.).
