In this role, you will support indirect procurement activities by managing supplier relationships, supporting sourcing initiatives, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing of services and equipment. Acting as a key link between local stakeholders and central procurement teams, you will help drive alignment, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do
Support procurement activities to ensure cost-effective sourcing and smooth operational support:
Act as a key point of contact between local stakeholders, the UK & Ireland as well as the Business Unit Procurement teams
Support sourcing activities for indirect spend categories, including services, maintenance, and packaging
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across supply chain, production, and maintenance teams
Support negotiations with suppliers, with the opportunity to develop negotiation skills over time
Create and maintain contracts and purchase agreements within internal systems
Prepare and analyse monthly cost reports and support global reporting requirements
Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
Support resolution of invoice queries and collaborate with finance and suppliers
Contribute to improving procurement processes and ensuring data accuracy
Who we’re looking for
Approximately 1–2 years of experience in procurement or buying, ideally supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience
Comfortable working with data and systems, with intermediate Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems is an advantage; Power BI exposure is a plus
Key soft skills include strong communication and stakeholder management, Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset, organisation, reliability, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Interest in developing a career within procurement

Location: Ashbourne, UK (hybrid working model)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Grade: N07
