THE JOB:
As a Busperson at Libertine Social in Mandalay Bay, you will support a vibrant, chef-driven dining experience by ensuring the restaurant remains clean, organized, and service-ready at all times. In this role, you will maintain the entire outlet—including the dining room, storerooms, food pickup areas, and beverage stations—in accordance with established cleanliness and stock standards. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and efficiency will help sustain smooth service flow and contribute to an energetic, polished atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.6197 hourly + tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied shits, to include weekends and holidays required
Must be 21 years of age or older
1+ years of prior relevant experience as a busser or food runner in a Fine Dining restaurant or similar dining environment preferred
