DXC Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing and translating business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring the seamless integration of technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user search behavior and metadata transformation needs.
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to manage the shared backlog and sprint planning.
  • Validate user stories during sprint reviews and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Document functional decisions, business rules, and mapping tables.
  • Support test data creation, mockups, and acceptance testing.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving functional issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as necessary.
  • Contribute to semantic modeling and linked data strategies.
  • Use tools such as JIRA for backlog management, issue tracking, and sprint coordination.
  • Ensure transparency and traceability of requirements and decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Search Engineers
  • QA/Test Engineers

The team normally operates in 2/3 week sprints, with regular demos, retrospectives, and co-creation sessions. Open communication and shared ownership are key factors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/master’s degree or equal through experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in the software engineering industry, with experience in a similar position.
  • Familiar with Agile as well as Waterfall approaches.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and backlog tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with modeling languages (e.g. UML, BPMN).
  • Able to present and lead workshops with clients.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to Belgium.
  • Language requirements: native in Dutch and fluent in English.
