The Puerto Rico Digital Technology Center is seeking motivated and curious Digital Technology Co-Op students to join our growing team. This role offers early-career professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting Business Systems and Connected Factory initiatives that enable engineering and manufacturing operations at scale.

As a Co-Op, you will work alongside experienced DT professionals and contribute to projects that may include shop-floor digitalization, manufacturing data and analytics, automation and integration, operational dashboards, digital workflow tools, and enterprise platforms. Assignments may also extend into supporting software development, cloud enablement, and process standardization efforts.

This is an opportunity to learn how digital capabilities support business performance, quality, and operational execution while building strong foundational technical and professional skills.

This is a seven-month CO-OP beginning June 2025 (Summer/Fall Session) and the work will be completed at our Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico site. Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the development, testing, and maintenance of digital solutions across Business Systems and Connected Factory domains

  • Assist with software development, automation scripts, data analysis, dashboards, or system configurations depending on assignment

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement efforts

  • Participate in team ceremonies and project reviews within an Agile or structured delivery framework

  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and process standardization activities

  • Learn and apply best practices in version control, cybersecurity awareness, data integrity, and system reliability

  • Engage in professional development activities within the PR Digital Technology Center community

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Basic programming knowledge in at least one language (for example, Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript) or exposure to technical tools and platforms

  • Foundational understanding of problem-solving and logical thinking

  • Interest in digital technologies that support business operations (for example, manufacturing systems, automation, data, cloud platforms, or engineering tools)

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn

  • Exposure to Agile methodologies or structured project environments

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (for example, AWS or Azure), data tools, or industrial engineering software systems

  • Experience with Git or other version control tools

  • Academic or project experience related to dashboards, automation, analytics, or system integration
