Business Systems Analyst/Integration Tester (Contract Talent)

Who We Are

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong experience in Workday Financials and integration testing to support enterprise initiatives, enhancements, and ongoing operational needs. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Integration, and Technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions and ensure high‑quality delivery through robust testing practices.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate integration testing, including test strategy and planning, test case development, coordinate with partner system for test execution, test case execution, defect triage and resolution, and end‑to‑end validation across systems
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure business sign‑off
  • Analyze impacts of Workday releases, patches, and configuration changes
  • Available to support and attend meetings in European time zones
  • Support post‑production validation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure solutions align with audit, SOX, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications for Workday Financials and integrations
  • Support integration design reviews and collaborate with technical teams on solution approach

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with an emphasis on Integration Testing supporting Workday Financials
  • Hands‑on experience with implementing and testing Workday Financials modules, such as: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) – Supplier Invoices, Expenses, Procurement / Suppliers, Assets, and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Workday integrations, including: EIBs, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services (WWS) / REST APIs, and third‑party financial system integrations
  • Proven experience leading and executing integration testing, UAT, and end‑to‑end testing
  • Strong understanding of financial business processes and controls
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
  • Collaborative mindset with a customer‑focused approach

Preferred Qualifications

  • International Experience in Italy and/or Bulgaria
  • Experience with Workday Financials implementations or large‑scale rollouts
  • Exposure to Workday Security and integration security concepts
  • Prior experience supporting global or multi‑entity financial environments
  • Workday certifications (Financials or Integrations)
  • Experience supporting production support and operational models
  • Bi-Lingual: Italian

    The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

    $28.85 - $43.27
