The Opportunity:
Serve as a senior-level Business Systems Analyst and trusted advisor supporting complex DoD and Navy enterprise initiatives
Act as a top-tier contributor and subject matter expert influencing program execution, operational effectiveness, and organizational outcomes
Provide expert analysis and consultation across business processes, systems, and management functions within NMMES
Lead and shape process improvement efforts that directly impact Navy maintenance operations and enterprise decision-making
Responsibilities:
Develop, analyze, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness of business processes, work methods, and operational procedures
Provide expert consultation on complex projects, serving as a senior specialist and advisor to government and contractor leadership
Independently plan and execute complex analytical tasks requiring extensive judgment and experience
Assess organizational structures, manpower utilization, workload distribution, and delegations of authority
Evaluate and improve management controls, information systems, and documentation processes
Formulate, implement, and enforce work standards and best practices across assigned functional areas
Lead and direct the work of other analysts or team members, providing technical guidance and mentorship
Assign contractor schedules, review work products, and identify and resolve discrepancies
Supervise contractor personnel as required and ensure alignment with program objectives
Communicate organizational policies, goals, and priorities to team members and stakeholders
Collaborate with technical teams, functional stakeholders, and government leadership to ensure integrated solutions
Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, Navy, and NMMES policies, standards, and procedures
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution
Ten (10) or more years of experience supporting DoD and/or Navy programs, systems, or policies
Extensive experience performing complex business systems analysis with minimal oversight
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in planning and accomplishing program goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior stakeholders
Desired:
Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise Navy or DoD IT systems
Prior experience leading or mentoring analysts or cross-functional teams
Background in process improvement, organizational analysis, or management consulting
Familiarity with Navy maintenance, logistics, or financial systems environments
Experience working in a cloud-based or modernized enterprise systems environment

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
