About the Role:
The Business System Manager is responsible for leading the assessment, development, and enhancement of Order to Cash processes with a specialized focus on SAP S4 HANA and BRIM solutions.
This role serves as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring that system improvements are strategically aligned with organizational objectives. The position requires overseeing business transformation initiatives, driving process simplification and operational excellence, and enabling robust, standardized solutions that support evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Business Process Analysis: Examine order to cash (OTC) workflows, pinpoint system challenges, and ensure improvements align with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with BPM, GBS, and business leads for clear communication and solution alignment.
- Standardization & Solution Enablement: Partner to create efficient, scalable processes and technical solutions in SAP and related platforms.
- System Optimization: Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and integration while maintaining compliance.
- Project Leadership: Facilitate workshops and reviews to confirm process changes, managing solution documentation and change management.
- Solution Integrity Assurance: Validate that technical solutions fulfill business and regulatory requirements through rigorous testing.
- Cross-Module Integration: Assess SAP modifications for impacts on other modules and systems, supporting seamless data flow.
- Continuous Improvement: Use KPIs, user feedback, and system performance to guide ongoing enhancements.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain concise process maps, requirements, and training materials, promoting best practices in system analysis.

- Technical Expertise: Maps business requirements to scalable solutions, manages ERP/CRM integrations, and has hands-on experience in data migration, master data management, and security protocols.
- System Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Identifies and resolves process pain points, implements enhancements, and uses Agile or hybrid methodologies for ongoing optimization and performance.
- Cross-Platform Collaboration: Bridges SAP and platforms like SFDC to ensure robust end-to-end business processes and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA or relevant Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in business system analysis, process management, solution enablement, with a strong emphasis on Order to Cash cycles.
- Expert-level understanding of SAP S4 HANA; Sales & Distribution (SD) and BRIM modules. Familiarity with FICO and cross-module integrations within SAP required; knowledge of systems outside SAP a definite plus.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business processes, challenge assumptions, and recommend actionable simplification strategies.
- Experience working with BPM and IT organizations to deliver standardized, scalable solutions.
- Advanced stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional documentation and presentation skills; able to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
- Project leadership experience in large-scale system deployments or business transformation programs.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
