PURPOSE:

pladis /Godiva are integrated companies, each with unique and shared objectives. The IT Applications organization supports North America in achieving the companies’ goals. This role will help the business make those goals a reality, by delivering great experiences through digital solutions, project management excellence, and deep business analysis. We are looking for a dynamic professional to shape our digital future and unleash best-in-class solutions. As Business Solutions Manager you will shape projects and ongoing solutions that enable our organization to maximize the use of the digital footprint.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

Business Partnership

  • Engage with key business partners and establish reliable business relationships.

  • Engage our offshore managed services personnel to facilitate the speedy resolution of issues identified by users.

  • Ensure alignment, visibility, and transparency for all aspects of current and future application initiatives.

  • Promote the gathering, definition, and prioritization of requirements with the business partners

  • Add value by identifying and driving change management efforts, in partnership with business colleagues.

Business Analysis

  • Translate business needs into IT specifications and use cases

  • Provide functional expertise and drive business analysis and process design to help our business define requirements for technology solutions.

  • Understand complex business processes and document them in a logical and comprehensible format

  • Identify and drive business improvement, renovation, and evolution.

  • Translate analysis and conclusions into actionable recommendations

  • Assist in troubleshooting application issues and bugs.

Solution Architecture

  • Create and shape processes by designing solutions and creating functional specifications for development.

  • Advocate End User Experience to minimize obstacles and improve productivity

  • Collaborate with the technical teams to design and build integrated, scalable, and automated, solutions

Project Leadership

  • End-to-end responsibility for the delivery of solutions that balance pace, flexibility, growth, and experimentation.

  • Manage multiple concurrent technology projects.

  • Take true ownership of initiatives and exceed expectations for scope, quality, budget, and schedule.

  • Assist in plans, strategies, and risk mitigation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential Criteria

  • 5 – 10 years in a business analyst and application lead role.

  • Experience leading IT application projects with sustained business results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Extensive understanding of SAP S/4 HANA FICO, (including, but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Inventory/Production Accounting, etc.) as well as interfaces with other related systems and underlying database technologies. Ideally experience with SAP Basis, ABAP, Fiori, and Security.

  • Knowledgeable in master data, integration, information systems, architecture, and technologies

  • Familiar with Project Management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)

  • Self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

  • Capacity to lead by example and develop strong personnel performance goals.

  • Collaboration and Effective Communication and Influencing skills

Desirable Criteria

  • CPG industry experience (manufacturing and distribution environment)

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and management tools. (MS Projects, Jira, DevOps)

  • Familiar with Organizational Change Management

  • Experience with SAP BW and ABAP

  • Understanding of the underlying principles of SAP HANA and related optimization of SAP applications and data models

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

Base starting salary ranges from $130k - $160k/year. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role includes:
