In this role, you will:

  • Be accountable for a complex portfolio of customers
  • Develop expertise in Inventory Finance, Equipment Finance, and Vendor Finance policies, procedures, including Background Investigation requirements
  • Develop expertise in compliance requirements related to BSA/AML policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements with the team
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leader
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with sales, relationship managers, underwriters, portfolio, and financial crimes operation teams to complete onboarding of new customers and make updates for existing customers
  • Process onboarding daily cases and manage the lifecycle to completion
  • Submit BSA/AML and Background Investigations orders to Screenings and Investigations (S&I) team
  • Review results of Background Investigations and make high level dispositions
  • Maintain awareness of updates to Cornerstone Onboarding requirements
  • Upload final documentation to document repository
  • Support with projects and adhoc requests as needed
  • Complete all on-line training requirements on time
  • Research and address Data Quality Issues in support of the Financial Crimes team’s SOR Cornerstone
  • Experience of customer engagement for document collection to satisfy KYC/BSA/AML requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of banking, compliance/, regulatory, and/or KYC/BSA/AML experience.
  • Good client service skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or quick aptitude to learn
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Must be able to frequently handle complex deals and multiple deals simultaneously, with very short deadlines
  • Working knowledge of BSA/AML programs including KYC, CDD, EDD, CIP, and or other related risk and regulatory disciplines
  • Familiarity with Cornerstone 
  • Team oriented and comfortable operating in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail & accuracy

Pay Range: 

Hoffman Estates–Illinois Pay Range: $66,000 - $100,000 USD annual (this range may not be applicable to other locations) 

Chicago–Illinois Pay Range: $66,000 - $100,000 USD annual (this range may not be applicable to other locations)
