Summary of Position
The Project Management intern will act as a liaison between the Business Unit leadership and the central Engineering group to coordinate project operations to ensure successful completion of assigned initiatives. The intern will support and strengthen customer relationships by facilitating effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders and internal team members. Responsibilities include assisting with planning and tracking projects and deliverables, updating timelines, meeting notes, and action trackers, and supporting project meetings by preparing agendas and summaries. The intern will gain exposure to project management and technical/non-technical communication skills.

Intern Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures all the project's requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution.

  • Assists the Business Unit Manager in documenting project benefits, scope, requirements and timeline.        

  • Identifies project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation. This includes escalating issues to the next level of management.        

  • Gathers information for communication forums for the exchange of ideas and information for projects including project status, resolving project issues, problems, and changes.        

  • Organizes verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.        

  • Responds in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaints from stakeholders and Business/Engineering functions.        

  • Complies with and follows all procedures within the company security policy.        

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Qualifications

  • Major(s): Business, Project Management, Engineering

  • Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior, Recent Graduate

  • GPA: Min 3.0

  • Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team

  • Flexibility to support our global environment and requirement of potential meetings/calls during evening hours

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus!

Availability: MUST be available to work in San Jose, California from May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
