About you and this role
The Business Process Expertise Manager (BPX) plays a critical role within the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Customer Collaboration Capability Management organization by maintaining, improving, and innovating the new ways of working. BPXs serve as a subject matter experts in their domain, applying functional and technical expertise to define and enhance work processes, systems, and roles standards. Working under the strategic guidance of a Business Process Leader (BPL), BPXs collaborate with peers, business stakeholders, and IT partners to execute prioritized solutions, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement. This role directly contributes to ISC’s strategic pillars—Disciplined, Agile & Resilient, and Shaping the Future—by modernizing processes, enabling data-driven decision-making, and building capabilities that enhance customer satisfaction and business results. BPXs also support the development of a purpose-driven, engaged workforce by modeling leadership excellence, cultivating functional depth, and enabling transformation through digital innovation and process modernization.
BPXs demonstrate a thorough understanding of the discipline, enabling independent execution and effective management of complex or non-standard situations.
Responsibilities
- Drive workstream and sub-process level activities to deliver strategic priorities and best in class operational execution
- Collaborate with peers and business stakeholders to align process design with strategic priorities
- Develop work process and training documentation to provide clear guidance and support to ensure adoption and mastery of work processes and systems
- Interface with IT / Operations/ ED&A, for system development, configuration, support, and issue resolution of regional requirements
- Define and document global work processes and system solutions in partnership with BPLs, and manage implementation and continuous improvement efforts across regions to ensure alignment and scalability
- Resolve issues, gathering requirement changes, and transferring work process knowledge to enable global alignment
- Participate in corporate initiatives and projects including requirements gathering, testing, data migration, and implementation.
- Monitor consistency between promised and delivered value through process metrics and feedback loops, and provide BPLs with insights on improvement opportunities based on metrics analysis
- Supports identification of process gaps by staying curious about external best practices and emerging technologies, contributing insights to benchmarking efforts led by the Technical Director
- Lead medium projects or co-lead large cross-functional projects with manageable risk and resource requirements to drive transformation and deliver measurable improvements
- Provide support in alignment with the escalation model to resolve issues and maintain process continuity. Conduct solution testing and serve as a key player in implementation activities
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Business Process Improvements.
- Master’s degree in engineering or MBA
- Demonstrated expertise in business operations, supply chain management, and project execution
- Supply Chain and Customer Service Process Knowledge
- Influential Leadership Skills
- Six Sigma Certification, Project Management skills, Lean, Digitalization, etc.
