Job Description & Summary

Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help drive strategic decision-making through budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services, transformation initiatives, financing, and performance optimization leveraging automation, and digital tools to deliver data-driven insights and enable operational excellence.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of  

As a Business Planning, Analysis & Insights Manager you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Act as the strategic finance partner and primary point of contact for Line of Service (LoS) Leadership and Partners, delivering high-impact financial guidance and insight 

  • Lead the Monthly Operating Review process by synthesizing inputs from revenue, resource cost, and ODC analysts to deliver a comprehensive view of LoS performance 

  • Deliver forward-looking performance commentary and financial outlooks in LoS Leadership meetings, aligning insights with strategic objectives 

  • Collaborate with the BU BPA&I Lead to assess accrual requirements and ensure accurate financial representation 

  • Develop and present financial content for executive-level presentations, enabling data-driven decision-making 

  • Align resource supply with forecasted demand by working closely with LoS Resource Management and Leadership, including processing adjustments in Anaplan

  • Drive the annual budgeting process within the LoS, ensuring alignment with firmwide priorities and financial targets 

  • Lead the development of fiscal year resource planning in collaboration with LoS Resource Management and business leaders 

  • Contribute to high-impact special projects across the LoS and firm wide, bringing a finance lens to transformation and innovation initiatives 

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is an asset 

  • Extensive progressive FP&A or business finance experience, including experience in business partnering capacity 

  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership, translating strategy into financial insights and action 

  • Proficiency in Anaplan, Oracle/SAP, and advanced Excel; strong command of BI tools like Power BI is an asset  

  • Strong communicator and collaborator, skilled at influencing cross-functional teams and presenting to executive audiences 

  • Agile, innovation-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational efficiency

The salary range for this position is $81,900 - $131,900. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
