The Opportunity

The Business Optimization Lead will play a critical role in driving enterprise-wide AI initiatives within the AI Accelerator. This position is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of optimization solutions that accelerate business transformation, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You’ll act as a connector and catalyst — helping business leaders reimagine how work gets done, shaping strong use cases, and ensuring that each one is grounded in measurable outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with exceptional program management and stakeholder engagement skills.

What You’ll Do

Business Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency through AI-driven solutions, delivering measurable outcomes such as cost savings, productivity gains, and enhanced decision-making.
  • Leverage data and analytics to uncover insights that inform business strategies and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Develop frameworks and best practices for scaling AI solutions, ensuring consistent delivery of value across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to reimagine workflows and optimize resource allocation, enabling the organization to achieve strategic objectives more effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and identifying areas for further refinement.

Delivery and Execution

  • Partner with the AI Accelerator leadership to define the AI roadmap aligned with corporate strategy and business priorities.
  • Identify high-impact optimization use cases across corporate functions and operational areas
  • Ensure projects meet timelines, budget, and quality standards while managing risks and dependencies.
  • Execute against defined KPIs and success metrics for AI initiatives and report progress to senior leadership.

Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating technical concepts into business value.
  •  Drive change management and user adoption strategies for AI-enabled solutions.
  • Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business transformation, product management, digital strategy, or analytics/AI delivery.
  • Proven track record of translating between business and technical teams in complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of data, AI, and automation concepts
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills — able to turn insights into stories that move leaders to action.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery, value tracking, and portfolio management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Energy sector or asset-intensive industry experience is a strong asset.
