As Business Operations Manager, you will take on the Operating Room business operations at Indian River Hospital. This includes managing data and reports related to surgical volume and volume target, Operating Room capacity and heavy Operating Room business analytics. The Business Operations Manager will train key management staff to help them become stronger business managers. Working alongside the Director of the OR, Finance, Supply Chain and other nursing leaders, you will offer support that has a direct impact in patient care and safety. There are various growth opportunities for this service line, leading to progressive growth for you in business operations. 
 

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Ensure key operational and productivity targets are met. 

  • Help with developing business plans and the integration of new acquisitions and partnerships. 

  • Support Finance and business analysis work. 

  • Provide oversight for Supply Chain processes such as purchase order creation and invoice reviews. 

  • Train management to help them become stronger business managers. 

  • Develop key partnerships throughout the institute and across CCHS to drive operational excellence. 

  • Support the implementation of strategic objectives toward the overall business plan. 

  • Identify benchmarks in financial performance and other key metrics for the respective service line. 

  • Work with each operational area in the institute to help them effectively manage business affairs with financial data and metrics. 

  • Support institute leadership in preparing annual operating, treasury, and capital and research budgets. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Six years of operational experience 

  • OR four years of operational experience and two years of RN experience 

  • OR four years operational experience and a Master’s Degree 

  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills  

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Master’s Degree 

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)  

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • In some locations, ability to move up to 50 pounds.
