 te tūranga | About the Role  

We’re looking for a Business Operations Associate to provide trusted, high quality operational support to multiple senior leaders within Finance. This role suits someone who enjoys coordinating moving parts, keeping work on track and ensuring priorities are delivered smoothly and on time.  

 

You’ll operate at the centre of Finance activity, supporting leaders by coordinating work streams, managing interdependencies and ensuring key activities progress as planned. You’ll bring structure, momentum and clarity to day-to-day operations, enabling leaders to focus on strategic decision making.   

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinating day-to-day operational activity across multiple Finance leaders to keep priorities moving  

  • Managing diaries, deadlines and competing demands with foresight and sound judgement  

  • Coordinating meetings, offsites and events, ensuring preparation, follow-through and action tracking  

  • Coordinating travel, expenses, invoices and approvals accurately and on time  

  • Preparing and assembling papers, presentations and briefings to support decision making  

  • Linking leaders and stakeholders to ensure information flows smoothly and work stays aligned  

  • Supporting people and compliance activities, ensuring key actions are completed as required  

  • Identifying ways to streamline processes and improve how work is organised and delivered

You’re highly organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple priorities. You naturally bring structure to complexity and take ownership of seeing work through. 

 

You’ll bring: 

  • 5+ years’ experience supporting senior leaders in a complex corporate environment 

  • A strong ability to coordinate activities, timelines and stakeholders across multiple work areas 

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to keep work moving in a fast-paced environment 

  • Sound judgement, discretion and a high level of confidentiality 

  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills 

  • A calm, solutions focused approach when things change or pressure increases 

  • Strong document and presentation coordination skills and digital fluency
