Job Summary: This position is located at Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation- Soto Cano, Honduras. Major Duties:

  • Responsible for overall management, leadership, and direction of fiscal resources, and policies and guidance of the established objectives of Business Operations and Community Recreation divisions of FMWR at Soto Cano, Honduras.
  • Delivery of business and recreation services including but not limited to food and beverage operation, fitness center, and equipment check out.
  • Abide by internal controls for cash handling and property accountability and operational/financial benchmarks.
  • Act as COR for AOR regarding base-ops contract and work with local nationals that augment FMWR services within MWR facilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: This announcement is open to current Army Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) employees located CONUS only. Work experience directing/managing one or more Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Programs for a garrison, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year. Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred: Three years of experience in Business and Recreation Programming Three years of experience with NAF finances and its correlation to service delivery **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to the selecting official for consideration first.
