Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Business Operations Coordinator. The idea candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, both internal and external, requiring independent thinking and judgment.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
You will participate in complex projects including:
Support purchasing activities for GM Research & Development by submitting requisitions, identifying the appropriate buyer, reviewing SODWs, and helping resolve invoicing or payment issues. This includes coordinating with vendors and assisting with general supplier management tasks.
Contribute to budget management by helping maintain ETLF forecasts, coordinating the resolution and closure of open purchase order commitments, and supporting software and maintenance renewal processes.
Assist in developing and maintaining efficient work processes, project management templates, financial tracking tools, reference guides, and best‑practice materials that improve department operations.
Support broader department programs and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with ESAP systems
3–5 years of relevant professional experience
Proficiency with SharePoint
Experience working with SAP Ariba
