The team
As our Business Manager you'll report hierarchically to the Head of Tribe Investments and is based in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of ING’s global investment strategy. Roles and responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across senior levels, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Translate the Global Head’s strategic priorities into actionable objectives and monitor progress across domestic and international investment teams.
- Track key performance indicators (AUM growth, client engagement, financial results) and provide data-driven analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare briefings and materials for internal and external meetings; coordinate planning cycles including the Dynamic Plan and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
- Support leadership in day-to-day operations (MTs, Townhalls, Offsites) and follow up on decisions and commitments.
- Facilitate governance structures such as executive committees, leadership councils, and steering groups.
- Lead or manage strategic initiatives and transformation programs across markets, ensuring delivery and stakeholder engagement.
- Identify and escalate key issues, risks, and opportunities; represent the Global Head of Investments in meetings as needed.
How to succeed
About you:
- Proven experience in strategic execution, business management, or investment-related roles
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong plus)
