Pay Range

$41.10 - $61.65

The Business Manager of Atrium Health Neonatology and Pediatric Specialties will support the following teams in the greater Charlotte area:

  • Neonatal Providers across five Charlotte NICUs
  • Genetics Physicians and Counselors with locations in Charlotte, Huntersville, and Gastonia
  • Rheumatology Physicians in Charlotte and Huntersville.

This position also assists with Enterprise Neonatal strategy work, collaborating on initiatives and standardization with 27 other NICUs within Advocate Health. Responsibilities include supporting physicians and teams, recruitment, billing and coding coordination, process improvement, and working with program and business managers within the Pediatric Specialty. Candidates should be strategic, able to multi-task, and approach problems creatively.

Major Responsibilities  

  • ​​Demonstrates ability in planning, implementing and evaluating projects, services, policies and procedures with the goal of ongoing performance improvement.
  • Participates in the decision-making structure and processes.
  • Develops and manages systems, policies and procedures.
  • Prepares financial analysis to evaluate initiatives and assists the leadership team in the development of the annual financial and strategic plans.
  • Works effectively and assures that effective communications occur between other disciplines.
  • Oversee research on designated topics; benchmarks with current literature and evidenced based practices in healthcare.
  • Assists with facility-wide event planning.
  • Manages the Capital Budgeting and Productivity Monitoring programs.

Minimum Job Requirements 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA, MHA, MPH, or another related field preferred. A minimum of 2 years of related work experience required.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Must continuously be able to stand and have use of both hands and all fingers, speak clearly, hear, and see less than 20" and a distance of more than 20 ft.
  • Requires inside work with occasional intermittent noise and exposure to conditions such as dust, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Has critical thinking and ability to concentrate. One must be able to respond quickly in stressful situations.
