Title: Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead

The Business Operations Lead/SME is responsible for leading strategic projects and enterprise level initiatives that drive operational performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across the organization. This role partners closely with cross functional teams to design, implement, and scale best practices that enhance end to end business operations.
The position plays a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex operational data, including ATM availability and uptime metrics, field service and work order performance, and software support and incident management trends. Using advanced analytical techniques, the role evaluates operational health, identifies root causes, and delivers actionable insights to senior leadership to support data driven decision making and long term strategic planning.
As an organizational subject matter expert, the Business Operations Lead/SME provides thought leadership, guidance, and mentorship on operational processes, reporting, and performance management. The role leads cross functional improvement initiatives, drives standardization and governance, and ensures alignment between business objectives, technology capabilities, and field execution to achieve operational excellence and improved customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operational Improvement
Lead strategic projects and initiatives to improve business operations across multiple functions.
Develop, implement, and maintain best practices for advanced data analysis, reporting, and operational processes.
Identify and drive improvements in efficiency, quality, cost savings, and business performance.
Provide insights, recommendations, and decision support to senior management on operational strategy.
Identify opportunities to incorporate AI solutions into business processes, analytics and decision-support models to drive measurable improvements in performance and outcomes.
Advanced Data Analysis & Reporting Excellence
Design and build advanced reporting solutions and dashboards using industry‑standard tools.
Apply expert‑level analytical techniques to evaluate complex datasets and uncover actionable insights.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms and workflows.
Lead the adoption of new analytical tools, data transformation technologies, and reporting methodologies.
Integrate AI capabilities into dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, forecasting and trend identification.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements and support organizational objectives.
Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to customers, stakeholders, and senior leaders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to foster alignment and trust.
Lead risk management activities and troubleshoot issues for customer‑facing or internal projects.
Act as a trusted advisor on AI-enabled analytics, educating stakeholders on capabilities, limitations and best practices to support informed, data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge Sharing, Documentation & Mentorship
Provide expertise and insights to team members and act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
Document technical requirements, processes, and knowledge guides to enhance employee and customer onboarding.
Guide, support, and develop colleagues through effective communication and knowledge sharing.
Oversee the development and maintenance of operational documentation, templates, and process standards.

Experienced with ITSM processes and supporting tools.
Skilled in risk management, identifying operational issues, and troubleshooting customer/project challenges.
Ability to document technical requirements, create knowledge guides, and support technical onboarding.
Experience leveraging AI-powered analytics, machine learning-assisted tools, or generative AI solutions for data analysis, reporting and insight generation.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
5 years or more of related experience in business operations, data analysis, reporting, or process improvement.
Proficient in strategic planning and advanced data analysis, with strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
